Anonymous visit counts. Separately from cookies, our servers keep daily totals of how many visitors reach each part of the site (for example, how many people viewed a listing or opened the sign-up page) and how quickly pages load in visitors' browsers. These totals are anonymous: we do not set a cookie for them, and they contain no name, phone number, account, device identifier or IP address, so they cannot be linked to you. We use them only to find and fix parts of the site that are slow or hard to use.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to show you listings, save your searches, send the alerts you ask for, and support and secure your account. We do not sell your personal information.

We use your information to:

show you owner-finance candidate listings (sellers who may consider owner financing — not confirmed) and cash-deal listings intended for investors
save your searches and send the listing alerts you request
show you intro requests from realtors and, only if you accept one, share your contact info with that realtor
provide account services and customer support
improve the Service
maintain security and fraud detection
comply with legal requirements

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not receive referral fees for it.

📞 A. Realtors You Choose

Realtors with free Ownerfi accounts can send you an intro request. You decide what happens next:

If you accept a realtor's intro request, we share your name, phone number, and email with that realtor only.
If you decline or ignore it, your contact information is not shared with that realtor.
If you contact a realtor yourself, the information you send goes to that realtor.

We never hand your contact information to realtors you have not accepted or contacted.

B. Service Providers

We share data with companies that help us run the Service, only so they can perform that work for us:

hosting providers
analytics platforms
email and text delivery providers
customer support tools
payment processors, if you make a payment

C. Legal Requirements

We may share information to comply with legal obligations.

D. Text Messaging (SMS)

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Your Choice: Intro Requests

✅ You Have Control

You can decline any intro request; the realtor does not receive your contact information.
If you accepted a request and no longer want contact from that realtor, tell them directly. They are responsible for honoring that request.
You can also use our opt-out form so realtors can no longer send you intro requests.

5. Data Retention

We retain user data according to these specific periods:

🔔 Data Breach Notification

We will provide information about the incident, the categories of data involved, and steps you can take to protect yourself.

Ownerfi does not sell personal information and does not receive referral fees. We do not share your contact information with realtors unless you accept that realtor's intro request.

To Opt-Out: Use our Do Not Sell or Share form, or email support@ownerfi.ai with "DO NOT SELL/SHARE MY INFO" in the subject line. Include your name and email address associated with your account.

We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid opt-out request.

8A. Service Geographic Scope (EU / GDPR)

Ownerfi is a U.S.-only service. We do not target, market to, or knowingly accept users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with comprehensive personal-data laws (such as GDPR or UK GDPR). The properties on our platform are U.S. real estate. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and you consent to your personal data being processed in the United States under U.S. law.

9. Children's Privacy

Ownerfi is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

Inadvertent Collection: If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a user under 18, we will delete that information within 30 days. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact support@ownerfi.ai immediately.
